Über uns
At Controlates, Pilates is more than movement – it’s a practice of strength, balance, and awareness. My approach combines classical Pilates principles with a visceral concept, focusing on deep core activation, posture, and mindful breathing. The result: a holistic training that supports your health, performance, and everyday well-being.
Die Geschichte hinter Controlates
Pilates was originally called Contrology by its founder Joseph Pilates. His philosophy was simple yet powerful: mindful movement through control, precision, and breath. Every exercise was designed not just to strengthen the body, but also to create harmony between body and mind.
The name Controlates is inspired by this heritage. It reflects the essence of Contrology – control and awareness – while adding my personal approach. With the integration of a visceral concept, Controlates goes one step further, focusing on the body from within to build lasting strength, balance, and energy.

FAQ
Do I need Pilates experience to join?
No prior experience is required. For Reformer Pilates, I recommend starting with two 60-minute trial sessions so you can get to know the equipment and feel confident with the movements. For all other classes, you can join at any time – whether you’re a beginner or advanced. I personally guide and support each participant, so you feel safe, seen, and motivated from the very first session.
What should I bring to class?
Wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle. For hygiene and safety, Pilates socks with grip are required for Reformer Pilates. If you don’t have any yet, no worries – you can easily purchase them at the studio. Mats and all other equipment are provided.
How do online classes work?
Simply log in via Zoom with the link you receive by e-mail. All you need is a mat and a quiet space at home.
Is Pilates suitable after pregnancy?
Yes – with my Postpartum Pilates program, you’ll strengthen your pelvic floor and core safely. Make sure that your baby is 8-10 weeks before you start and always check with your doctor first.
How can I book a session?
You can book group classes directly through the website. For Private Sessions, feel free to reach out via the contact form or email. I will get back to you as quickly as possible to arrange your appointment personally.
